Ask your own questions, have visitors read and agree to your safeguarding policy, take a photo and print a badge. If an answer needs attention, it is flagged as a warning for staff to review.
More on Visitor ConnectFire Connect, part of Edu Connect, runs a fire drill or a real evacuation for one school or the whole trust. Everyone signed in is listed by assembly point, and fire marshals mark people safe on the Fire Connect app on their own phone.
The roll call never changes who is signed in. Drill history, registers and headcounts export as PDF, Excel or CSV.

Yes, every new trust starts with a 14 day free trial that includes everything except Access Control, and no card is needed. If you need longer to try it properly across your schools, ask us and we can extend it.
Yes. One Edu Connect account covers the whole trust, with each school set up separately. Managers can see every school or just the ones they look after, and a member of staff who works at two schools is still one person.
Yes, through Wonde. Once your school approves Edu Connect in Wonde, staff and pupils come across from your MIS with their year and registration groups, photos and card numbers. Your MIS stays the master record, and leavers are switched off rather than deleted.
At the reception kiosk by choosing their name, by tapping their card on a card reader, or by showing a QR pass. Staff can also sign in and out from the Edu Connect app, and a phone running Scanner Connect can scan cards at a door or gate.
Edu Connect signs everyone out automatically overnight, so each day starts with a clean list. If a visitor signs in at a second school in your trust, they are signed out of the first one.
An iPad or Android tablet for the reception kiosk, running the free Visitor Connect app. For card sign-in, add a USB or Bluetooth card reader. Badges print on a label printer paired with the kiosk. Fire marshals use the free Fire Connect app on their own phone.
Visitor records are kept for 30 days. After 90 days the visitor's name, contact details, photo, signature and answers are removed automatically, so you are not holding personal data longer than you need to.
Your data is stored in the UK, the connection to the database is encrypted, and every manager signs in with two-factor authentication. Each manager's access can be set area by area. Our data security page has the detail.
